Spider Solitaire 3は、クロンダイクの兄貴分——2デッキ104枚、10列のタブローで戦う、戦略的で深いソリティアをブラウザに届けます。列はスート無関係で降順に組めますが、ボードから取り除けるのはキングからエースまでの「同スート完全ラン」のみ。カードが増えたぶん、一つ列を空けるのにも取り返しのつかない3手が必要になるなど、すべての決断が重くなりました。ソリティアを本格的な思考ゲームとして楽しみたい人へ。負けるのが当たり前で、勝つと小さくて難しくて美しい問題を解いた気分になれます。

遊び方

Build tableau columns downward in descending order; suit does not matter for stacking, but a run must share one suit to be removed — King through Ace clears from the board. Deal fresh cards from the stock when stuck, but only when no column is empty. Win by clearing all eight runs. Moves that flip hidden cards and build same-suit sequences are worth several plain moves. Tip: as a rule, delay breaking a nearly complete same-suit run — it is usually the win condition in disguise.
